Hi, I’m Stephanie Ann Akerman, and I’m passionate about helping organisations like yours make a real difference.
I created SAvvy Business Management to bring together my experience in business management, community work, event planning, digital strategy, and local government.

Over the years, I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from organising local events to helping businesses expand their digital presence. It’s through these experiences that I’ve learned what it takes to achieve meaningful results in a way that feels personal and authentic.
I'm proud to have worked with charities, community groups, and local councils, and I’m excited to continue using my skills and passion to help others succeed.
Background and Passions
My involvement in community projects began years ago and has been a core part of who I am. From organising local events to working on community-based projects, I’ve always been inspired by the idea of bringing people together and making a positive impact.
As a Parish Councillor for Checkley Parish Council, I’ve gained invaluable experience working with various local groups, businesses, and organisations to support projects that improve the community.
In addition to my work in local government, I’ve also supported charities and community groups through event planning, grant writing, and securing the funding needed to keep their projects moving forward. And when it comes to business management, I’ve helped entrepreneurs and growing businesses develop digital strategies, streamline operations, and improve their reach.
Whether it’s organising events, managing social media, or developing local policies, I’ve seen firsthand how dedicated support can make a real difference.
One of my favourite projects was the Jubilee Park sign, where I had the pleasure of working with local youth groups, schools, and nurseries. We created a new park sign that brought together the creativity of our young residents, and it now stands as a welcoming feature in our community. It’s projects like this that remind me why I’m so passionate about what I do.
